I simply opened this once I hated it.

This is the textbook I utilize in my AP Human Geography class. Information technology is the best text for this course.

Okay so this is a good textbook.

Our instructor was... non that keen for this grade, simply this book was really thorought and covered all the cloth in an interesting manner. There were plenty of maps and visuals to aid understanding of the text.

I'll exist honest, I didn't get a study review book for the AP Exam, I merely read the textbook and took notes. And although nosotros haven't gotten our scores even so, I feel pretty confident that I did well.

Okay then this is a good textbook.

Our teacher was... not that great for this class, but this book was actually thorought and covered all the fabric in an interesting way. There were plenty of maps and visuals to aid understanding of the text.

I really don't know how to rate a text volume or write a review for it, simply here we are. It never even occurred to me I could count text books equally part of my reading goals, just I estimate why non! Anyways, I'k not going to rate this, and this isn't much of a review either. This was pretty much your basic ap text book, nothing too out of the ordinary or spectacular. I found the parts on agronomics rather dull, but the parts on race and ethnicity and the geopolitical sphere semi interesting.

Read this for school (the Human and Cultural Geography DSST, if anyone'south interested), and I don't normally add "school books" to my Goodreads unless they're fiction or any. The only calculation this one is considering it was HUGE and I was And so PROUD OF MYSELF for finishing it. Weighing in at like lxx pounds and 500 pages, this 1 was pretty massive. I had to bribe myself with episodes of Downton Abbey to end it. I actually enjoyed learning about all of this stuff, merely I would've enjoyed it more Read this for school (the Human and Cultural Geography DSST, if anyone'southward interested), and I don't normally add together "school books" to my Goodreads unless they're fiction or whatsoever. "The Cultural Landscape: An Introduction to Homo Geography" is an introductory text that contains fabric used in human geography classes. The showtime half of this book focuses on elements of cultural geography and the second half focuses on elements of economic geography. It shows how politics, human activities, and geography are related. I myself read this book for my AP (Advanced Placement) Homo Geography class. I constitute it to be very thorough and like shooting fish in a barrel to understand. It is also very interesti "The Cultural Mural: An Introduction to Human Geography" is an introductory text that contains material used in human being geography classes. The start one-half of this volume focuses on elements of cultural geography and the 2d half focuses on elements of economic geography. It shows how politics, human activities, and geography are related. I myself read this book for my AP (Advanced Placement) Human being Geography class. I found it to be very thorough and easy to sympathise. Information technology is also very interesting for a textbook. Most textbooks are deadening just this textbook is not like that. Information technology has many interesting facts and images. Another office of what makes the book interesting is that you may really apply the material presented in the volume subsequently on in life, even if yous don't go into a career involving the geographical sciences. However, some parts of this volume fabricated me want to stop reading it. These parts were mainly in the second half of the volume, economic geography. A lot of material was but rehashed. It felt like sentences were stated in three different means. Regarding how fix this book has made me for this AP examination, I experience it has washed two - thirds of the job, and the remaining third is up to me to become ready. Hopefully, I should become a 4 or 5 on the exam. I would recommend this volume to any person, even if they are not planning to pursue a geographical science career, considering there are some concepts that you will near probable demand to know for use in normal life. My slice of advice, however, is that people using this volume for a AP Human Geography class should use other sources if they want a v on the test. ...more

Visually this looks like the high school textbooks that I remember from a long time agone, and nevertheless the writing was clear, the content was in-depth, and the book covered many topics that affect people effectually the globe (rather than but focusing on Europe or the US). I especially appreciated the back up structures such as vocab guides, review questions, and charts, diagrams, and other images. This makes it difficult to detect information This was really a decent textbook, I was pleasantly surprised. Visually this looks like the high school textbooks that I remember from a long time ago, and yet the writing was articulate, the content was in-depth, and the book covered many topics that affect people around the globe (rather than merely focusing on Europe or the Us). I've been using this book to teach my daughter a grade on Human Geography. I've constitute it fascinating and very helpful in understanding the earth and current issues. I didn't find this textbook, nor its associated course I took with it (Cultural Geography) to exist very interesting or informative. I had to read this book for course and idea I would detest information technology, but I surprisingly didn't, it was really pretty intresting!

This is a great textbook and is organised very well. I would not choose to read this for fun, merely it was a cracking pick for the AP Human Geography course textbook.

This was my AP human geography textbook from freshman year! Overall, very repetitive and the chapters were outrageously long. But if you lot like detail, I would recommend this book.

If information technology weren't for the several chapters I found heed-numbingly boring, information technology would accept probably earned a iv-star rating. It might not even be off-white to give information technology iii stars based solely on my preference for certain subjects over others, but I'k not doing that exactly. I feel that the layout of each chapter is what makes learning almost a topic you lot don't particularly treat an excruciating process. It feels like a lot of stuff is rehas I institute most of the information in this book really interesting. If it weren't for the several chapters I found mind-numbingly irksome, information technology would accept probably earned a 4-star rating. Information technology might not even be off-white to requite information technology three stars based solely on my preference for certain subjects over others, but I'm not doing that exactly. The hardest function is remembering all the models for all the junk no one cares well-nigh.
